New Painting: Hindsight
Finished a new painting yesterday, using acrylic, ink and crayons on canvas (80x100cm). Some words on its formation: I started by defining the background using some deep yellow and immediately set the heavy blue circle on top. After that the geometric parts in the lower right part of the painting were sketched and then partly filled in. A series of repetitions followed in which fast strokes with ink alternated with the coloring of bigger forms and finally the blue bottom was set up and the last geometric patterns filled in.
